Welcome to Coral Cultivations, my name is Stephen Cranfield. I have kept marine fish and invertebrates for over 15 years now, starting with a fish only system at the aged of 21 and progressed to full reef systems containing soft, LPS and SPS corals. Over the years I have had great success propagating various species of corals, and in December 2003 made the decision to develop my hobby into a part-time business.

However, after 15 months I was forced to leave the trade due to health problems, but in March 2008 I made the decision to set up again.

Once again I am concentrating on corals and invertebrates, and for this have a purpose built 500 gallon holding system dedicated totally to corals and similar animals, and my future plans include holding systems for both fish and reef-friendly clean up crew animals.

Unlike some shops I will only stock animals that are suitable, and long lived in a reef aquarium environment, and would never sell an animal to someone if I did not believe it would thrive in their aquarium, and with this in mind I try to stock as many animals as possible that are suitable for beginners to the hobby.
